Delete your account

Option 1: Delete in the Dabbel app (recommended)

1. Open the Dabbel app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Go to Settings → Manage account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm, then confirm again when prompted.

Deletion starts immediately. You will be signed out when it completes.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your Dabbel account:

support@dabbel.app

Include:

• The subject line: Delete my Dabbel account
• The email address on your Dabbel account
• A short note confirming you want the account permanently deleted

We typically complete email requests within 7 days after verifying ownership of the account. You will receive a confirmation when deletion is finished.

What is deleted

• Your profile and account credentials
• Activities you hosted
• Direct messages and connections
• Activity participation and related app data tied to your account

What may be kept

• Messages you sent in group (activity) chats may remain visible to other participants, shown as from a deleted account
• Limited moderation records (for example report or block history with email snapshots) may be retained for safety, fraud prevention, and legal compliance
• Purchase and subscription records may be retained by Apple, Google, or our payment providers as required for billing and tax purposes
• Backup copies may persist for a short period until they are rotated out of our systems

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
